1971 Chevrolet C/10 truck

1971 Chevrolet C/10 shortbed stepside - Jim purchased this in late October 2018. It spent its entire life in North Carolina. He believes the miles to be original 55,000. It spent the winter of 2018/2019 in Lafayette at Jim's friend Buzz's shop.
The truck has been sitting for a very long time last registered about 12 years ago in North Carolina.

Buzz went through it mechanically from top to bottom and now it drives like a new truck. He got all of the lights and turn signals working and rebuilt the three on the tree shifter, a complete tune-up on the engine, changed all the fluids etc.
It has not been restored and Jim likes the patina, so he's not going to do anything on the body except to enjoy it. It has a few blemishes and a few small places of rust but overall it's a very solid Truck and it has a lot of character.

It is your classic half ton short bed Stepside Chevy with a 6 cylinder engine and a 3-speed manual transmission with column shift. Also known as, three-on-the-tree.
Jim had been looking for one of these for a very long time. He had a red one that was from 1970 and he drove it for many years and it got so badly rusted that it was just done. Jim sold the red one in 1988.
