Richard sent this image of his Grandfather's '56 Belair convertible. "This is me in Grandpa's '56, had been Dad's & his sis's shared Bel Air convertible. This is from a Kodachrome scanned recently. I'm sure this one is out there somewhere. They traded it with about 35,000 miles on it in 1969." |

A TRUE "TRI-5" Seen at a car show in Fortuna California in 2009, this custom is a blend of 1955, '56, and '57 Chevrolets. Very cool indeed! |

Rochester Indiana, October 13th 2007 Jim has not been "hiding under a rock".. He gets to see some car shows. Jim had never seen this one. This Indiana car blew him away! It must not get out much? Can you blame them? |

Rochester Indiana, October 13th 2007 Jim doesn't know how to classify this one. A "BARN FIND" a "TRI-5" or a "RAT ROD" It had obviously been sitting for quite some time. Jim estimates that the paint is 1970s era lacquer and it is cracking and falling off in sheets. This 1956 Nomad is well on it's way back to it's former glory with an LT1 engine with 700R4, as well as suspension mods and modern wheel-tire combo. |
